The TLC Santry Team…
Breda Hayes (Director of Nursing) and her team ensure safe and appropriate care for residents at TLC Santry taking your individual needs, capabilities and desires into consideration. We aim to be Person Centred in all our actions. Breda has 17 years’ experience as a Director of Nursing and holds a Master’s Degree in Health Care management and a Post Graduate Diploma in Quality and safety among other formal qualifications.
Breda reports directly to our CEO/ General Manager, Noel Mulvihill, who has considerable experience of managing older person services on a national level. Elaine Keane, Director of Clinical Services across the TLC Group, is responsible for clinical governance as well as the standardisation and development of best practice.
Breda is supported by Assistant Directors of Nursing, Jane Deepa Edwin and Jackline Rapheal together with Clinical Nurse Managers and Staff Nurses. Our team of Clinical Support Specialists, comprised of catering staff, accommodation staff, and care staff all work together to create a place that we hope you will consider a home from home.

In the day care centre on the ground floor there is always something happening. A variety of health promotion activities and social events are scheduled by an events manager and team of activities co-ordinators, ranging from bingo, movies, arts and crafts, cards. Our door is always open for visitors, friends and family. We encourage family members to get involved in the life of the centre.
Assisted bathing and hydrotherapy is also available to all residents and day care clients.

Located in the picturesque Northwood Parkland in Santry, the TLC Centre is a purpose built, luxury nursing home designed for care of the older persons. We are well equipped to meet the special needs of frail older people and those living with dementia in very pleasant surroundings. If you are more active, our programme of events and the therapeutic intervention of our on-site physiotherapist will ensure that you remain active and even improve your capabilities.
In addition to the ideal location just off the M50, the TLC Centre Nursing Home in Santry, Dublin offers unparalleled services and amenities that allow elderly people to fully optimise their retirement years.

A big screen showing movies is in one room while a game of bridge could be taking place elsewhere. However, there are also large drawing rooms respecting a desire for privacy, reading, listening to music or just relaxing.
There are four restaurants at the TLC Centre; The Oak, The Beech, The Ash and The Olive, offering a diverse dining program with a variety of menu choices.

Every year the TLC Group support Team Hope by taking part in the Christmas Shoe Box appeal. Residents, Family members and Staff are invited to take part in this initiative to fill their box with items that bring children in conflicted and poverty-stricken areas joy....

We deal with complaints in accordance with our complaints processes, which are on display in the centre and available to you in written form on request from any member of staff.
If you have complained to us and you’re not satisfied with our decision on your complaint it is open to you to contact the Office of the Ombudsman. The Ombudsman provides an impartial, independent and free service. By law, the Ombudsman can examine complaints about any of our administrative actions or procedures as well as delays or inaction in our dealings with you. The Ombudsman’s remit relates to complaints about actions which occur on or after 24 August 2015. The Ombudsman cannot examine complaints about actions which occurred before that date with the exception of complaints from residents eligible to complain under “Your Service Your Say” (Residents whose place is provided under a contract with the HSE).
