One of our outings during the month was to Santry Woods for a walk in the park. It was a clear cool day so we decided to make the most of it. We took our time strolling round the park enjoying the sounds of the birds and children play. We then found a nice bench and sat down for some juice and crisps. Rita Keyes enjoyed the outdoor noises and Michael Ennis said he enjoys a walk in the park. We are still attending our patch at the local gardens each week. It is starting to take shape now. Our strawberries are lovely and big and our flowers are so colourful. The guys who work there are so helpful and have great pride in their garden, each week they show us something new that they are growing. Of course we can’t go without seeing the gardens dog, Tiny and feed him a biscuit or two!
